Additional Item Information - This striking pair of Italian wall sconces, dating back to the 1970s, perfectly embodies the rustic and brutalist charm of mid-century craftsmanship. Each piece features a large, shield-like circular backplate made of hand-hammered wrought iron with a beautiful dark burnished patina. The central section is embellished with intricate openwork scroll motifs, adding a touch of neo-medieval elegance to the robust design. The hammered surface is specifically designed to catch and diffuse light, creating a warm and atmospheric glow that highlights the metal's texture. They are ideal for adding a touch of character to hallways, living rooms, or rustic-inspired interiors. Condition Very good vintage condition. Each piece requires one E14 bulb (not included).
