Additional Item Information - Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega “Flower” / “Tulip” Pendant Lamp, 1970s. This iconic pendant lamp is a spectacular example of Italian lighting design and Venetian craftsmanship. Designed by renowned glass master Carlo Nason for AV Mazzega during the late 1960s to 1970s, this fixture is highly sought after by collectors for its organic, sculptural silhouette. The lampshade is constructed from four heavy, interlocking panels of mouth-blown Murano glass. The glass transitions from a deep, sophisticated smoky grey-brown tone at the core to transparent, textured clear glass along the fluid, petal-like extensions. When unlit, it stands as a dramatic glass sculpture; when illuminated, the overlapping glass panels diffuse a warm, atmospheric glow, creating beautiful reflections across the room.

The fixture has been fully rewired with premium components to ensure compatibility with modern electrical standards across the UK, Europe, and the USA. It features a single central E27 light socket, suspended by its signature chrome canopy and structural wiring. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition.
